Chapter 4 discusses how health and mortality are affected by education, race/ethnicity, socioeconomic status, marital status, urban/rural areas, and neighborhoods. Find a recent newspaper article that discusses at least one of these inequalities in health and mortality. Please do the following: 1. Give an overview of the article and how the inequality affects health and mortiality. 2.What changes can be made in American society to eliminate the inequality discussed in the article you chose? 3. Provide a link to the newspaper article.
Describe your own lifetime experiences with migration and relate them to the Conceptual Model of Migration Decision Making (figure 6.3 in the textbook or slide 14 in the Chapter 6 PowerPoint). If you have never moved, use the conceptual model of migration decision making to explain why.
